This project was conceived while hiking the 2200 mile long Appalachian Trail during its 100th anniversary. For over 20 years, I have been exploring the U.S. and beyond through backpacking. I look forward to sharing what I have learned with others and helping them feel more comfortable and self-sufficient in the outdoors. We are based in Northern Virginia.
